Missionary Update 01/03/2023
01 Jan 2023 We just started our furlough by packing our household effects from Okinawa, Japan. Most of our household items are in a storage facility there, and some others are in a Sunday School classroom inside the Maranatha Baptist Church building. We flew to Manila, Philippines to spend Christmas, and the New Year with families and relatives. The last time we saw them was in 2019, shortly before the pandemic. Please pray for our needs while on furlough, the rest, recovery, and renewal, as recommended and approved by our Baptist International Missions, Inc. US Military Missions Director, Brother Bryan Baggett. Please pray for good health, safe travel mercies, a minivan we can use for traveling in the USA, provisions for motels, hotels, and others while on furlough. Please pray for an "open door," in the US Military Mission Field in Japan. Our missionary visas are good till 2027 in Japan. However, we are willing to go anywhere in the world, where the LORD JESUS CHRIST wants us to go. Please pray for our spiritual and physical health even during this furlough. Right now, we are battling flu-like symptoms. Most of all, please pray that we can minister to souls, and win souls for the LORD JESUS CHRIST. Thank you very much. Missionary Update 10/03/2022
GOD bless you! Thank you very much for your prayers for the Navato missionary couple, in the area of the mission field where the LORD JESUS CHRIST sent us, here on Okinawa to the US Military. We are also grateful for the monthly financial support you send us. Kindly pray for the following: For more more souls to get saved. Praise the LORD JESUS CHRIST, 2 Sundays ago Lynne prayed to receive CHRIST! Last Wednesday, Emmanuel received CHRIST, I led him to the LORD myself (Ed). For more converts to be baptized. Yesterday Sunday, I baptized Lani by immersion! Glory Hallelujah! Please pray for our building repairs, replacement of dry-rotted wood, and repainting. The estimated cost is $40,000.00 to be converted to the Japanese Yen. Please pray for our Maranatha Baptist Church Okinawa Annual Missions Conference 12 through 16 Oct 2022, that the LORD JESUS CHRIST will bless us beyond measure, so we may not only support our current missionaries, but to support at least three more this year, and more in the future. We didn't even maintain our last Faith Promise Missions Commitment Goal, instead we were down $2,500.00 a month! Please pray to the LORD of the harvest to send more soul winning laborers to the harvest here in our local church. Pray for a man Congregational Song Leader, Sunday School Superintendent, Sunday School Teachers, Maranatha Baptist Academy School Teachers, Nursery Workers, a maintenance man for our bus/van ministry, bus ministry operators/drivers/workers, assistant pastors, and other needs Please pray for an increase of our monthly support to meet the rising costs of every commodity even in Japan. Missionary Update 09/01/2022
30 Aug 2022 Dear Faith Baptist Church of Tacoma, WA, GOD bless you, and all of Faith Baptist Church of Tacoma, WA! Thank you very much for your prayers for Elvie and I, in the area of the mission field where the LORD JESUS CHRIST sent us. We are also grateful for the monthly financial support you send us. Please pray for more laborers here, so many are transferring due to military orders. We are praising the LORD JESUS CHRIST, Here are some encouraging news and updates for the month of Aug 2022: Wesley and Hazel both got saved Danny led Wesley, and Josie led Hazel to CHRIST Becca led Rose Ann. Juvy Ann, and Marjorie to CHRIST John, Maricel, Ryalene, and John, Jr. joined the church by public profession of faith Heather led Candace to CHRIST Elvie and I were able to visit with our son Eli in the USA. The last time we saw him was in 2016. That was the last time we were in the USA as well. Elvie and I were able to go to church together as a family On 01 Sept 2022, Elvie and I will be celebrating our 39 years anniversary I am praying for your healing Ms. Prouty.
