Dear Pastor and Church,
This is an eventful week in our lives. Tomorrow, April 15 is my parents 58th Wedding Anniversary. Please pray for them that the Lord will keep them strong and healthy.
Tuesday the 16th is Halbert's birthday. He remains active in church leading the youth service weekly and he leads the music. He has an Amway business, so please pray that he will reach his goals.
Also, on Tuesday the 16th we begin our Youth Camp through Saturday. We are expecting youth from 5 churches. Please pray for Alba and I as we direct it, for the cabin counselors as they work with the youth and give daily devotions, for my dad and Pastor Daniel as they teach each morning, for the 3 of us who will be preaching each night, and for the youth that they will listen to the Holy Spirit and will surrender to His Call in their lives. Some are undecided about coming still, so please pray that they will come. We are praying for 40 youth plus the adult workers.
Thank you for your prayers and God bless you.

Dear Pastor and Church:
We write with heavy hearts. Last Sunday were the elections here in Honduras. All went well and was peaceful. But, the race is so tight between 2 of the candidates that they are still counting votes. Hopefully, they will finish tomorrow (Thursday the 30th).
One of the candidates is the current President who ran for reelection, many feel illegally. The other candidate joined his movement with a leftist party in hope that they could together do what individually would be impossible: stop the President from being “illegally” reelected. They are sure they won because Sunday at midnight they were winning by 5%. But about 35% of the votes were not yet counted then.
They are threatening protests if they do not win when the results are announced tomorrow. Things would definitely go violent.
So as you meet for prayer tonight, please pray for this situation and for the peace of HONDURAS. We truly believe in prayer and today has been declared a day of prayer among Christian churches in Honduras. Your prayers will be very appreciated.
Yours with HOPE FOR HONDURAS,
Leslie & Alba Priday
