Dear Churches and Friends, January 2021
Bible Baptist Church started the year with a special meeting. The theme was anticipation. The message was about anticipating our Lord’s return and having a more intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. It was an encouraging time as we entered the New Year. We also have good news to report. A young lady named Pauw got saved. She had come to church a couple of times already. Our group went to visit her at her home a few times as well. She came to a Sunday night Bible Study and received Jesus Christ as her saviour. She is already worried about what her family will think. That is a problem here in Thailand, because families will look down on family members becoming Christians. It goes against their family tradition.
For outreach this month, we went to a children’s home. We split the children into two groups. The younger kids were taught by two of our young woman. This was their first opportunity to teach at a children’s home. It was a great opportunity for our ladies. Then, two of our young men taught the older children. This format worked out well for both groups. The older children get a greater benefit when separated. In addition, we took a Saturday and went and handed out tracts on a busy sidewalk. We thank you for your prayers and support.
