Hello everyone! What a wonderful month we have had. Incredibly busy as always, however, we are consistently impressed with how gracious and kind our Lord is.
Thank you to all of you that prayed for our first Church services in Valle de Santiago on April 10th. We had a wonderful start to holding regular Church services here. We have seen a steady stream of first-time visitors. It has been encouraging to see those first-time visitors quickly turn into regular attendees. We have seen people making good decisions to be faithful in their regular attendance. We also had a young lady ask about being baptized. I spoke with her and her husband for a little while after one of the services. We cannot assume that people have a biblical understanding of salvation or baptism. We are endeavoring to be very thorough when teaching people the Word of God. Please pray that the Lord will give us wisdom and guidance.
After several hiccups, we have received our visas for another three years. Praise the Lord, that is behind us. We are officially cleared to be here and work for another three years. During the process, we were charged double the price for three of the visas. Will you please pray that we will receive a refund in the near future? Also, on two different occasions while I was trying to withdraw money from an ATM the machine “debited” our bank account and never gave me the money. Both occasions are under investigation. Would you please pray that the bank here would refund that money?
We just celebrated being in Mexico for one year and according to my records, we have handed out a little over 43,000 packets of scripture since arriving here. We have had a family in the Church start going with us once a week to distribute scripture and we had two families ask if I could please bring them packets at our midweek service so they could give out scripture on their own time throughout the week. Praise the Lord for right now we have people who want to get the Word of God out. Thank you so much for your prayers. For all of those who support us financially and pray for us, thank you from the bottom of our hearts and God bless you!
Sincerely,
Chris King and Family

Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.
Hello everyone!
To all of you who pray for us and give financially, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. We could not do what we are doing without your support. God bless you all! These last several weeks have been challenging, however, I am so thankful to see the Lord guide and direct in every detail of life. Several weeks ago we traveled to the neighboring state of Hidalgo in order to provide special music for an Anniversary Conference at Ixmiquilpan Baptist Church. This Church was started and was Pastored by American missionaries. However, this Church has been pastored by a national for three years now. I was encouraged to see the product of what we hope to see accomplished in Valle de Santiago in the Lord’s timing.
By the Lord’s grace, we will be hosting our very first Church services in Valle de Santiago this coming Sunday. Sunday school at 11 am central time and services at 12 pm and 6 pm. We will also have midweek service on Wednesdays at 6 pm. I am very thankful for how the Lord puts everything together. We will have my dear friend Adbeel Cabnal from Guatemala City preaching for us as well as Juan Luis Garcia teaching our Adult Sunday school class. I took my very first foreign missions trip to Guatemala in 2016 and literally some of the very first people that I met on that trip were these two men. We’re thrilled to have them with us. Please pray that all will go well and that the Lord will bless
Our family is doing well, Praise the Lord. Please Continue to pray that we will absorb the language very quickly. Again, God bless you all and I hope that you will have much fruit in eternity as a result of your participation in this ministry.
Sincerely, Chris King and Family
Please Pray • For our first Church services on April 10th 11 am (CT) • Continued progress in speaking Spanish • Continued growth in my ability to preach and teach in Spanish. Answers to Prayer • The Lord is making provisions for our campaign in August
Hello praying friends, It’s amazing how quickly time is flying by. Before we know it, we’ll be going into the new year. I’m very thankful to be able to report that the Lord is working mightily in our home. It is thrilling to see the Lord graciously growing us. Transitioning has been very challenging but praise God he has already given us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
We have seen significant growth in learning the language as well as the culture. Thank you very much for your prayers regarding this. I have had more opportunities to teach and preach the word of God. In one weekend I taught and preached four different times. One midweek service we had a new record of 37 people on our van route. The Lord has also been using us to provide special music at regular Church services as well as special meetings in this area.
Thank you very much for praying that the Lord will direct us in regards to where he may have us start our first Church. It is too soon to tell if this is an answer to that prayer request, however, we do have some exciting news.
We had a Pastor friend invite our family to take a sightseeing trip to some inactive volcanos south of where we live. While we were standing on the top of one overlooking a city there, he told me that there is 150,000 people here and no one currently preaching the gospel. That of course caught my attention. Within the week I received a phone call from a Pastor in Monterey Mexico. He asked me if we had a work started or an idea of where we would start a work. I told him the name of this city we had visited and he eagerly mentioned that his reason for calling me was because a man from that city contacted him and asked if there was anyone who could come and conduct a Bible study in his home.
We had 17 people in our first Bible study there Praise the Lord! We are scheduled to go back each week at the same time. Please pray for the Lord’s protection and blessing over this open door. To all of you who pray for us, thank you so very much! Keep up the great work for our Lord in these last days.
All for the honor and glory of Christ, Sincerely, Chris King and Family
