Praise the Lord! • God met all our needs in April! • God brought a new family from Easter. Please pray for them as they have been sick. Most of our efforts in April were in preparation for Easter, which was a real blessing! We sent our 5,000 invita-tions via EDDM but believe it or not the post office was “so” efficient that most everyone received them 3-weeks before Easter...whoops! I also learned that a sunrise service is for the mature Christian who is willing to attend a service @ 6:45 AM while it is barely light, on a cold, windy, and cloudy morning. Next year it will be different—inside a warm building @ 11 AM! We did have visitors and about 25 of us had a great time in worship celebrating our Savior’s resurrection and a pancake breakfast outdoors after the service! The day before Easter we had a giant egg hunt with many visitors and a lot of fun for the kids. Victory Baptist Church of Roanoke Rap-ids, NC donated a huge revival tent we planned to use for Easter, but a few days before we learned that we needed a permit, so we used three-10x10 canopies. Since then, we have secured a permit but haven’t erected it yet; fully set up it is over 3,000 sq. ft. We are still canvassing and sharing the gospel; however, folks have not been open. Please pray for us and for tender hearts. People seem to be more afraid of getting covid than going to hell! We love you folks and appreciate your partnership with us. God Bless! David & Terrie Charter Service planned! We tentatively set a date for our char-ter service, 6/12/22. We are excited to have the Charter Service for Crosspointe Baptist Church. This church plant has been our most chal-lenging (and discouraging) by far! Covid 19 did not help! Satan continues to at-tack our families and it’s been a real challenge, but we will trust the Lord for the increase and continue to press on! We can find someone to erect our large tent. We have a per-mit to use it from June—to De-cember for VBS & other events Charter Service Baptism Sunday 5/22 Salvations & families Praise Potential Future Site for Crosspointe Baptist Church Not everyone has been enthu-siastic about our potential plans. Neighbors are seeking to peti-tion to oppose us. Their HOA informed them that their concern of “too many cars” is not valid because they are on public roads. Also, a church does not have to seek approval in a residential area as it is ap-proved. Please pray for us!
