Missionary Update 04/04/2023
A Good Start in 2023 Dear co laborers in Christ, FAMILY NEWS: Thank you, thank you, thank you!! Thank you for praying for us and especially our son Anestis Daniel. He is a different child. He also had an opportunity to speak to a counselor in the States via internet and he was really encouraged and wants to speak again. April asked him a few days ago if there is anything different with his spiritual life and he nodded his head in an affirmative way. I want to share that right before he stopped hanging out with his “friends” we as a church fasted and prayed for him and as you were praying also the Lord really stepped in. Thank you, please keep praying for us. About our family report. I heard a missionary say that one of their supporting churches “were tired”, of hearing about their family problems and that they cared for more information from the field. I pray that no one is tired of hearing about our son’s difficulties because our first priority field is our family. If we fail to help our own first, how can we reach others? Even as the Apostle Paul writes in 1st Timothy 3: "4. One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity; 5. For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God? CHURCH NEWS: We did start on the church building by faith and the Lord moved in to send us a huge amount of funds that is helping us to move forward!! Please view the pictures at the link. Our music ministry is doing great! It even has the local priest (my cousin) upset. He preached against the HERETICS’ music school and that young parents should not bring their children to our school. Two ladies from our adult choir dropped out and one lady removed her daughters from the school. BUT others were upset with the priest’s unexcused tone and direction. He also told them about our summer Day Care. Which brings me to say that we have many parents calling to bring their children. I tell them up front that we will be teaching Bible lessons so that they won’t be surprised. Most of them do not worry about that. As a matter of fact, one couple that removed their daughter last year they are asking if there is a space for her this year!! We are pleased with the Internet Bible radio as well with FaceBook and YouTube media. The Lord is using it for His Glory! Please Pray for: Anestis Daniel our 15year old return to the Lord.
