Missionary Update 11/01/2019
October 29, 2019 Dear Pastor and Church, Our church just finished up our annual missions conference. W.L. Smith was the preacher this year. His wife, Lucy gave a testimony each night and taught a class for the ladies on Saturday. The preaching was really good during the week, and we were blessed and stirred to do more for missions. We are still in the process of collecting the faith promise commitments, but it looks like it will go up some from last year. Argentina had its presidential election on Sunday. It is likely that many things will be changing here as a leftist candidate won the election. After he won, he opened his arms to the leftist Venezuela president. Also, the financial markets are all very nervous and therefore the Argentina Peso has weakened. Nobody knows what is going to happen economically at this point. Please pray for the upcoming four years here in Argentina. The men have still been working on the construction of the second floor every Saturday, trying to get everything ready for the group of workers from some churches in Buenos Aires that will be coming down here to work starting November 16. The progress is very visible and we now have the tresses built and installed for the roof. There is still a lot to do before the group comes down here. We would like you to continue to pray for us and for the financial costs of the construction. Everything that we have built has been debt free and we are very grateful to the Lord for that. Some churches have helped us with the financial burden of the construction, which has been a real blessing to us. If you would like to help us with the financial costs of the construction, it would be a great help towards the building of the second floor.
