July, 2015 Psalm 145:7 “They shall abundantly utter the memory of thy great goodness, and shall sing of thy righteousness.” Dear Pastor, Church, and Praying Friends, This summer has flown by! We have enjoyed a very busy travel schedule as a family. God has blessed us with meetings in Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania, New York, Ontario, Vermont, New Hampshire, Virginia and Alabama! What a blessing to have the family traveling together! Since our last prayer letter we have seen 6 people trust Christ as Savior! God has done some special things for us as we travel. On our last trip in the northeast, a dear pastor friend invited us to spend a few days at his cabin on a lake. What a blessed and refreshing time it was! God even gave us a free fishing day, where Bobby and I were able to go fishing and catch some Northern and Walleye Pike! It was our privilege to work in two Vacation Bible Schools this summer! One of them, our home church, had a high day of 709! In both VBSs we saw close to 120 children trust Christ as Savior! Praise the Lord! I met with my pastor last week to discuss a date for our return to the field. God has been faithful to meet our needs, but our support level is not where it should be. Pastor told me to raise additional support before returning to the field. We will be extending our furlough through February of 2016 so we can raise new support. Please pray that God will lead us to churches that will be able to support us, so we can return to the field quickly! If we reach the support level we need before February, we will leave sooner. This month, two new churches have taken us on for support. Praise the Lord! As we prepare to return to the field, God has burdened our hearts for the state of Espírito Santo in Brazil, a small state of almost 4 million people, but no Independent, Fundamental Baptist missionary. We feel that God is directing us there and we are anxious to get started planting churches. Pray with us that God will lead us to the city where He wants us to start. I was just talking to a missionary friend in Brazil today who told me of a man in his church who is burdened to see churches started in his native state of Espírito Santo. To our knowledge there has not been a gospel preaching missionary there in many decades. The need is great! Thank you for keeping us in your prayers!
