Missionary Update 06/01/2023
Dear Pastor Smith and Fellow Soldiers of the Cross at Faith Baptist Church, June 2023 Greetings from South Korea! We are doing well! Our Sunday school classes for both children and adults are thriving. The Lord provided an adult Sunday school teacher. Please pray for David Beckett who is a pilot in the U.S. Army. It is his first time teaching adults. He is teaching, “Truths that every Christ should know”. He is doing a fine job! The Month of May has been extremely busy with church projects and counseling. Also, my daughter Melanie returned to South Korea to celebrate her 40th birthday with us. She spent two weeks with us. She also played the piano during the offertory. It brought back so many fond memories of when she was young and playing for our church. Please pray for Sue’s health. She has a lot of pain in her right hand. It may be connected with trigger finger syndrome. It is keeping her up at night so please pray for healing! Once again, thank you for your faithful prayers! Dear Pastor Smith and Faith Baptist Church, October 2022 Thank you for your fervent prayers. They mean so much to us in South Korea. The Lighthouse Baptist Church is experiencing many blessings. In our last prayer letter, we asked for you to pray for the expansion of our children’s ministries. God has answered your prayers. Beginning October 2nd we have added a children’s Sunday class. A young couple in our church has assumed the responsibility and it is a blessing to see them take the challenge of reaching the next generation for Christ. Please pray for Tucker and Charley Driskell as they minister to our children. At this time we have three classes for our children. In our adult Sunday school we are teaching a new class that focuses on the Christian home. In the U.S. Military Christian families are facing so many new challenges. There is great pressure from the new “Woke” military leadership to compromise their Biblical convictions. These brave men and women are standing tall for Christ against a spiritual enemy that would love for them to coward in the face of adversity. Please remember our Christian brothers and sisters fighting the good fight in the U.S. Military. Many of you have prayed for Noah Park. He is a Korean young man who has a physical disability. God blessed him with a new Coffee shop business a few years back. Two weeks ago Noah’s parents joined our church. They have been so faithful to God through many difficulties. Thank you for praying for the Park family! Recently we had another good turnout on Saturday's Soul-winning visitation. (See Picture below) Also, pray for our “Invite a Friend” Sunday, October 30th. We had two new families joined the church on September 11th. We thank God for the Domsic and Veliz families. Thank you for your prayers and support! Bruce and Sue Rosko
