February 1, 2024 Dear Pastor and praying friends, Good morning from lovely Deutschland. We started January off with a bang, quite literally as Germany is big on New Year celebration and fireworks begin at midnight and go into the wee hours of the morning. From where we live, we can see a beautiful firework show and not leave the comfort of our home. Thankful to celebrate another new year in the place where God has called us to people that are dear to our hearts and truly like family. Not only did we welcome in another year, we welcomed a new sweet baby girl into our church family. There were some complications with mother and baby, but thankfully they are getting better and stronger day by day, and will hopefully be in our church services again soon. So thankful for this little blessing that we get to love on and point to Jesus alongside her parents. We started our men’s prayer breakfast and ladies Bible study as we took a break during the holidays since it was such a busy time. We also heard from our landlord that once again God answered our prayers and we get to stay in our building until 2025. We continue to look to see what else is out there, but praying God will give wisdom and direction as when and if we need to move. We ask for your prayers as Patrick will take a very short furlough in April for 3 weeks to the West Coast to raise additional support and to hopefully see other supporting churches in the area. Pray God lines meetings up, and especially pray for Michael as we will be staying back in Germany and he is not away from his dad much so this will be an adjustment.
