Missionary Update 12/02/2016
Dear Pastor Mark Smith and precious church family, Merry Christmas 2016 and a blessed, Christ-centered New Year 2017. Praying the Lord will bless and use you, your family and church in a mighty way to do greater things for the Lord this coming year. Christmas is such a joyous time of year. It is a time to remind ourselves that Jesus is the reason for the season. The Bible clearly states in Luke 2: 11, “For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.” Praise the Lord for our savior. It is hard to imagine life without Him. It is also a time to remind ourselves the reason Jesus came to this earth. He came to seek and save those that are lost. What an opportunity we have to close out this year leading people to Christ. It is hard to believe we are at the end of 2016. As we look back our hearts are overwhelmed with gratitude for all the Lord has done for us. The Lord has protected and provided for us. His presence has been so real in our lives. As far as the ministry is concerned, it has been a truly fruitful year. We saw many souls saved. As a family, the Lord gave us so many opportunities to sing and testify. I preached and shared our burden for lost souls and the work the Lord has burdened us to do. God provided money for about 500 Bibles for India and also $300 for Sunday School books. We have seen God work in mysterious ways and God is still on the throne. Thank you for making so many sacrifices to help us take the gospel to lost souls. In the past couple months, we had several churches take us on for support. Praise the Lord. Please pray for more churches to take us on. We are excited to see what the Lord will do through us in 2017. We want to reach many souls for Christ. We are praying for a fruitful year in the Lord’s vineyard. Much needs to be done. We are truly thankful for your prayers and financial support. We count it a blessing to be your missionaries. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
