Missionary Update 04/04/2016

840 Balch Road, Madison, Alabama, 35758, Tel. 256-830-6224 11810 Cedarfield Drive, Riverview, Florida, 33579, Tel. 256-701-1930 eaostark@gmail.com www.eastafricaoutreach.org April, 2016 Dear Friends and Family, In about 4 hours Kathy and I will get on the airplane and fly to Atlanta, on to Amsterdam and then on to Uganda arriving late Tuesday night. Alex will pick us up at the airport and take us to Buhimba the next day. We will spend 2 days there visiting various servants of the Lord and ministries. We will be carrying 400 new fix tuned radios for the two stations in Uganda. Friday Alex will take us back to Kampala to meet with some other brethren and on Saturday we will catch a flight to Kigali, Rwanda where we will find Ignace. We will travel to Butare (Huye) that day and remain there ministering until May 23rd when we return to the US. Please remember our goals are to evangelize, establish an Independent Baptist Church and lay the groundwork for a new FM radio station in Rwanda. We will be carrying with us 8000 tracts. When we put those together with the more than 18,000 other tracts that have been mailed, we have a lot of seed to be sown. Pray for the seed to fall on good ground and bring forth fruit. Pray for Kathy, myself, Ignace and other believers to be filled with the Holy Spirit. Pray for the Lord to show us the piece of land He wants us to have for ministry. Pray for us to make flight connections and that our baggage not be delayed. Pray for God's grace that I might be strong when I am weak. Do remember to pray for our other ministries (churches, BI's, schools, radio stations) and the Lord's servants ministering in the Lord's work in Uganda, Southern Sudan and Congo. March 26 Dominick from Mt. Otzi wrote: Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus. I hope you are doing well in the ministry the Lord has given you... I wish to inform you about the encouraging development here. The notorious thief in Moyo whose home is known to be the prison is now saved through our messages on the radio. Our blue radios are in both prisons of Adjumani and Moyo which allows the prisoners to listen to our programs every day. Prisoners have been saved and we established a church service there on Sundays. After our service we visit them and preach to them. Since last month when the thief was saved 21 fellow prisoners have called for salvation. Outside prison are 32 ... All who got saved on the radio program are appreciating your entire work and support for the radio and praying for you. Thank you for your prayers, and support. You are making a difference in the world. Your Co laborers, Tony and Kathy Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen Ephesians 3:20-21

Missionary Update 04/01/2016

Dear Friends and Family, Years ago, my wife and I learned a little chorus that says, "blessing after blessing keeps on following me...". That continues to be our testimony. I thank the Lord that He opens the windows of heaven and pours out blessings. This week as we were preparing to send 9000 tracts to Rwanda, we discovered that the maximum weight per box is 20 pounds whether it is the large box or medium box. If we filled a large box then the weight would be too much. But if we filled a medium box, we could pack 1200 tracts instead of the estimated 1000 and it was exactly 20 pounds. Going to the medium box reduced the cost from $93.95 to $71.95. For those of you who sent funds the extra is being used to send Bibles, so you have the blessing of sending Bibles and tracts to a new ministry. I need to tell you that as the postman weighed our boxes only one box was 2 ounces over. As we opened the box, he took out two tracts and then taped it and said it was okay. I know the extra tape for taping it again had to weigh the same as the two tracts. I am convinced the Lord wanted us to give the postman one of the tracts and that is what we did. I received the following from Ignace on Monday Pastor, what I told you, of having the ministry start in Huye district was not wrong, but the Lord brought me to the right place. For sure it is God's will having our ministry here. Pastor, this is something unbelievable seeing that the attendance of the activities of the ministry is increasing from 14 to 50 people within 2 months. In the English class I have some Burundians and Rwandans, and the same in the Bible study class. The good news from our Bible study is that 7 young people got saved in yesterday's evening Bible study. I preached for the first time in the Bible study, and I did call for those willing to receive the Lord Jesus Christ and 7 came. That shows there are still many who are in a need of the Lord. We are still praying for you, and when you arrive here some are waiting to be baptized by you. But they do not know yet who will baptize them. I think we are on the way to another Ephesians 3:20-21 experience. Pray for the power of God!! Tony and Kathy, Your partners in the Lord's work

Missionary Update 03/11/2016

We are getting closer and closer to our departure. Kathy and I are very encouraged. Igace has rented a place for us to stay the two months we are there. Tracts are being printed and we are working on getting Bibles and New Testaments in English and French. Investigation is being made as to the cost of equipment for a radio station. All of this needs to be bathed in prayer. As we join together in oneness to pray God will bless. Would you join me for 30 days of prayer and/or fasting beginning March 11th (Friday). At this point fast one meal a day, one or more days a week as the Lord leads. It will be 30 days from the 11th until April 9th the day we arrive in Rwanda. Please pray for the following and any other ways the Holy Spirit leads you. Ignace and Kartine (wife) to be filled with the Holy Spirit according to Ephesians 5:18. Tony and Kathy Stark to be filled with the Holy Spirit according to Ephesians 5:18. Safe journey as Kathy and I travel - we leave Pensacola, Florida on April 4th with a few days in Uganda before arriving in Rwanda on the 9th. The seeds sown in various ways will fall on good ground and bring forth fruit that remains. I will add more prayer requests as we go along. I made a typing error in giving our church address for sending funds for mailing tracts. The zip code is 35758 and not 35759. Your co laborers Kathy and Tony

Dear Friends and Family, As we draw near to the date of our departure for Rwanda, I want to share with you a way some could help us sow the seed. Based on the Lord's parable about the sower and the seed I have always been motivated by the conclusion that, if you sow enough seed, some will fall on good ground. I believe one way to sow seed is to give tracts to others. As I was having lunch with a brother in Christ, he was showing me a couple of tracts that he and his church use for witnessing. I liked what I saw and thought those could be good for our new ministry in Rwanda. As I left this brother and went on my way, I got to thinking that maybe a church or individual could send us a box of their favorite tract for distribution in Rwanda. I discussed the idea with one pastor, and his response was encouraging. We are taking six trunks, but four will be filled with radios for Uganda. That leaves us with two trunks to live out of for two months. It is obvious there will not be much room left for tracts. I am suggesting volunteers send us a box of their favorite tracts to Rwanda. You can go to the Post Office and get a free box for packing. They have a set price for sending their boxes of any weight to any place in the world. Small box 33.95, Medium 71.95, Large 93.95 It would probably take 2 weeks to a month to get to Rwanda. Unless you want to get mail from those who receive the tracts, I would not put your church info on the tract. They will write you and will possibly make requests. You can leave it blank or put Rwanda info on the tract. I am not asking you to have them printed but, if it is included in your cost, you could put any of the following on the tract. New Jerusalem Baptist Church, Pastor Irizerwa Ignace, Huye - Tumba, 250-785-376-903, pastorignacerda@gmail.com Please send the box to Pastor Irizerwa Ignace, PO Box 390, Rwanda - Huye. This could be a personal project, SS class project or Church project. Ignace has converts in Rwanda, and I have graduates from Uganda ready to help you distribute tracts in Butare, Huye, Rwanda. Butare is the second largest city in Rwanda with a population of 80,000 and a university with 12,000 students. We fly out of Pensacola, Florida on April 4th. Be watching for update - Rwanda #3 coming soon. If you have questions, write or call 256 701 1930. Your co laborers in reaching the world - Tony and Kathy Stark

Down below and attached you will find our new prayer letter. Please read and pray. 840 Balch Road, Madison, Alabama, 35758, Tel. 256-830-6224 11810 Cedarfield Drive, Riverview, Florida, 33579, Tel. 256-701-1930 eaostark@gmail.com www.eastafricaoutreach.org January 2016 Dear Friends and Family, Tribalism seems to be an ever-present problem in some part of Africa. In 1994 it was the Hutus and Tutsis of Rwanda. Over 1,000,000 suffered death leaving so many orphans and widows. One man with foresight sent his two sons and daughter to Burundi for survival. When they returned to Rwanda their mother and father were both dead, suffering from the genocide at the hands of others. In 2008, Irizerwa Ignace, one of those two surviving sons, finished secondary school. He then travelled to Uganda to learn English as it was becoming the new language of his country Rwanda. While learning the language and living in sin, Ignace found himself talking with a missionary in Kampala. Dennis Blankenship shared with him Romans 6:23 along with other scriptures. In a short time, Ignace had received the Lord as his Savior. He was baptized and felt the need to learn the Bible. With this new life and desire, Ignace was led of God to Tony Stark and Uganda Baptist Bible Seminary in Buhimba, Hoima, Uganda. He became a student and graduated on May 21, 2013. After graduation Ignace returned to his home in Huye, Rwanda, while seeking the Lord for what he should do with his new life and knowledge. For two years he has been teaching English and holding Bible study from his home. Many have received the Lord. They bring their questions about the Bible. Shortly after I met Ignace, he started talking to me about how his country needed the truth. He would encourage me to go to Rwanda with him to start a new ministry. This past year while ministering in Uganda I talked with Ignace on the phone. He begged me to come to Rwanda and help him start a church and radio station. I told him it was not possible and that my health would not allow it. After getting back home I continued to get emails asking when I was going to come. In October while I was working on a new mission's message, the Lord broke my heart and directed me to go and help Ignace. Initially I thought Kathy and I would go for 3 years but my pastor (Mike Allison) suggested 3 months. The Lord has given peace so we will leave April 4th and return May 24th. Our goal will be to leave Ignace pastoring a local Independent Baptist Church in Huye, Rwanda. We will also investigate the need and possibilities of an FM radio station as a ministry of the new church. Since Ignace and I have partnered with this common vision, he has rented a house in which to live and minister. His Bible study is held on Sundays in one room which will hold 40 chairs. Ignace has completed his legal marriage and will be married by one of our pastors on February 14. His bride (Cartine) is a young lady he led to the Lord. They go soul winning every week together. I need some help. Since being back in those US my financial support has dropped. We will have some extra expenses with this new project. I could use some increased monthly support for 4 to 6 months. Any increased support or special gifts would also help us in traveling to and living in Rwanda for two months, buying and sending literature, buying land and possibly building a church building. If you have any questions, please feel free to call me at the number above or call Pastor Allison at the church number above. Any support should be sent to Madison Baptist Church World Missions and marked EAO at the address given on this letter. Thank you for continuing to help us do the work of the Lord. Your Co laborers, Tony and Kathy Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen Ephesians 3:20-21
